FOSS in India - Free and Open Source Software Innovations from Indian

FOSS is about exchanging knowledge and experience in creating useful
software products without snaching the common man's right to use
technology.
In a few years FOSS will ensure that IT in India is not just about
giant firms like Wipro, TCS and Infosys which in all these years have
done very little to teach free and open source software technologies
to common people in India.
Nor will the "India of my dreams" be snatched away by Bangalore based
billionaires - who have made their billions from Information
Technology outsourcing services without giving any open source
software knowledge initiatives back to the Indian community.
