Osirix and Horos on the same machine?

Is it possible to install both Osirix and Horos on the same machine with or without a common database with no conflict? The Osirix plugins are essential for the work we do but some of our colleagues like to use Horos.
Horos is very limited in terms of plugins. Is there a way to adopt Osirix plugins without the plugin developer intervention?
