old and new vesions of osirix database incompatibility

Hello, I'm using Osirix 8.0 lite version but I would like to install and old version too (3.9). When I open one of the two versions a message about impossibility to recognise the database structure pop up, suggesting rebuild the database.

Is there any solution to overcome this incompatibility?

I seem to be having a similar problem.

I currently have OsiriX 3.9.3 (32bit) installed under OS X 10.8.5 and it's been working fine. I'm making a clean install of OS X 10.11 on a new SSD and decided to upgrade to the latest OsiriX 8. When I selected my database with the new OsiriX, it appeared to be rebuilding the Database.sql file and then all of the patients showed up in the main screen. However, the imaging data for each patient appears to be corrupted and each file has a question mark on it. On the other hand, when I import new data using Query, there are no problems. And similar to the op, OsiriX 3.9 no longer is able to read the database after Osirix 8 touched it.

Are the file formats somehow changed when loaded into OsiriX? Is there a simple way of importing the data into one from the other?
