The RAM and osirix

Hi all, I am looking at the new15 inch macbook pro 2018 to replace my 2015 13 inch model. I am a cardiologist specilizing in cardiac imaging and osirix my main image processing system. will 32 GB 2.6 Gz I7 be vastly better than 2.2/2.6 Gz but 16 GB ram?. I plan to keep the laptop for about 5 years
