Hi Folks---interesting question for our library experts. The inquisitor, Paul Howard, is cc’d here. Can you reply to Dr. Howard if you have any wisdom you can share?

Many thanks,

Glenn

Subject: [HLIB-NW] Query: Innovations in Health Sciences and Consumer Health Library Spaces

Hello esteemed colleagues,

I’m starting a process of re-envisioning what our Clinical Staff and our Consumer Health libraries will could like and function in the near future.

My question: what innovations in space design and function have you undertaken at your institution?  What other libraries (either clinical or consumer health) have you heard about or visited that strike you as particularly notable, creative, forward-looking?

I am aware of Alanna Campbell’s book Transforming Health Sciences Library Spaces (Rowman & Littlefield, 2019) and am borrowing a copy from another library.  Are there other web pages or resources I should consult?

Thank you very much for your advice,

Paul Howard
