Hi Everyone,

The Vikings want to improve our communications with you, our members! 

Hopefully you will have seen Johnny's email earlier this week, with regards to the Communications Manager role that we have created. When this role is filled, it will be an important step forward in improving communications. 

We also would like to draw your attention to the fact that we are now on Twitter, and we would like to ask you to follow us Twitter as another way to improve communications. We will still be sending email blasts from time to time, and we are committed to updating the web site on a more regular basis this season, however we believe that the Twitter account will be another useful tool in helping us to let you know what's going on.

We recently twinned with Hinckley RFC in England - they have 336 followers on Twitter.... can the Vikings do better than that?!?!?

If you are not sure how to open a Twitter account (if you don't already have one), or how to "follow" the Vikings on Twitter, I have attached a word document which will get you started. It is free to open a Twitter account.

Occasionally, and even with the best of intentions, the Vikings are informed of late changes to game times, venues, and other important information which we must then get out to the membership or a relevant team (players, coaches, managers, supporters) at very short notice. We are going to use our Twitter account as one of the ways to try and do this.
