More and more users contacted the osFinancials team with a request for
a Accounting Schema suited for Belgium users. I have started to
investigate such a Accounting Schema with initial help of Carine, but
came to the conclusion that such a Schema needs very specific rules
based on the Belgium law.
As I do not personally live and work in Belgium it was a task I
couldn't complete without help of others.
A few weeks ago Arjan contacted me, with the idea of setting up a
"Belgium user group".
First task to create a suitable Accounting Schema for Belgium in the 3
languages used in Belgium. (Dutch, France and German, that's why I
write this message in English)
Secondly to share the knowledge and eventually organize some other
activities.
From that point on, Arjen and I have started the the first steps in
creating the Belgium user group, whereas this Google group is the
first step.
The next step will be to email all registered Belgium osFinancials
users to make them aware of this working group.
Into the past I have received from some of you some material regarding
a Belgium Accounting Schema, my question to you if you can share this
information again in this group. We have 100MB disk space on Google
for this. If you don't have that information anymore, I do :-) so I
can upload too, but I need your commitment for this. Please send me a
email if you want me to upload.
From here Arjan will take over, if you have any idea's please let him
know. I will be their to communicate information from osFinancials
organization and give if needed information to the developers.
With kind regards,
Jan Verlaan
