* Northwest corner of Howard and 4th St., San Francisco - 2 blocks from Powell BART. Postmaster General Donahoe is speaking at 10:00 a.m. inside Moscone West.

* Stop Donahoe from dismantling and privatizing our public Post Office! Keep 6-day Delivery! No Closures, no cuts! Our communities depend on liveable wage postal jobs!

* Endorsed by local postal unions: American Postal Workers and Mail Handlers Union, by Committee to Save the Berkeley Post Office, and by Communities & Postal Workers United (www.cpwunited.com), a national network fighting to Save the Post Office.

Assemble 10:30 AM on Second St. - south of Market, near Montgomery BART. Street Theater is planned. Marching with United Food & Commercial Workers Union in Green T-shirts. Look for the Save the Post Office banner.– Endorsed by NALC Branch 214.

 

Ø      Mon. March 18 – Rally 9:15 AM to confront Postmaster Gen’l Donahoe – Plaza in front of Moscone Center West - Northwest corner Howard and 4th St , S.F. Two blocks from Powell St. BART. Donahoe is speaking 10:00 AM at National Postal Forum, inside Moscone West. Protest endorsed by local postal unions: American Postal Workers and Mail Handlers Union.

 

Ø     Tue. March 19 – 6:00 PM Film showing: “The Great 1970 Nationwide Postal Strike”

Redstone Bldg, 2940 - 16th St. [at Capp St. betw. Mission &  So.Van Ness – 3rd floor, elevator access] – Half a block from 16th & Mission BART station, San Francisco. Discussion follows film. – Endorsed by NALC Branch 214.

S.F action 11:00 - 3:00, North Beach Post Office, 1640 Stockton St. (at Union St., opposite Washington Sq.Park)
