Tony Mariposa

During his time in prison Antonio Guerrero has become a proficient and accomplished painter, mastering several techniques including water colors that he used for the paintings in The Mariposas of Cuba. Guerrero has also published several books of poetry including his most recent, Enigmas y Otras Conversaciones and La Verdad me Nombra that were featured at Havana's International Book Fair in February.

This is a fundraiser event organized by the International Committee for the Freedom of the Cuban 5. A $10 - $20 donation is suggested at the door. Refreshments will be wine, empanadas and crêpes.
