Hey everyone. Things are all falling right into place, now. I have
posted the minutes for the meeting on thursday here:

http://openfarmtech.org/index.php?title=CECmtg-01-15-09

Its a rundown of the presentation, ideas, and next steps for getting
this shit off the ground. The first few Next Steps are most
important.

And the main site, if anyone is interested in working on it, is
http://openfarmtech.org/index.php?title=OSEMidMO/CEC . Really,
mediawiki markup is fun and easy, and its a great way to share and
exchange knowledge and information.

Since people are starving for examples and planning of what they
themselves will be doing in the system, it might be fun to have a
place where we can list ideas. Though this stuff is really fun to
think about and figure out, we will need to get more focused at
meetings and make decisions on the important particulars of the
systems. Being able to post or get together and brainstorm is fine
and I would encourage doing it, but for now, at meetings, lets get
grounded and figure out how we will actually get this off the ground.
Considerations for function and application of the system are posted
in the NextSteps section of the meeting minutes, so I hope we can all
figure out exactly what we are looking for, and can come together to
make some informed decisions. Do your homework and read, there is
plenty of information about what we are doing on the internet as its
been done thousands of times before.

This saturday (24th) I would like to have a meeting on campus for all
those who could not make it on thursday, and we will spend a bit of
time introducing the ideas but moreso we will be focusing on important
particulars. If there is enough people we can do breakoffs and get a
lot done. I will be off work around 2, so if people want to go PLEASE
DONT JUST READ THIS EMAIL RESPOND WHEN YOU CAN COME. I don't want to
leave people out, but I can't read your minds either, so let me know
your availability for saturday, and, just in case, sunday.
