Hi,
I'm a complete newbie of Freertos, but I was wondering what is the reason behind supporting two states like blocked and suspended, that apparently seem to be exactly the same.

The fact that a blocked state assumes a timeout is a plus that I don't see the reason for. If I wanted a timeout to resume a task I would have implemented the timeout callback to do so.

What am I missing in the big picture? or is it possible that the presence of these two states has to do with historical/implementation reasons (like "it's easier to implement")?

Thanks in advance,
R
