[Seisunix] removing noise spike from seismic

Can i use the sumedian to remove the noise spike from stacked seismic
any script for that please

Use:

sugain trap=TRAPVAL < yourdata.su > yourdata_despiked.su

where TRAPVAL is the threshold value that you want to consider all
amplitudes to be greater than as noise spikes.

Hi, what is the value of amplitude's threshold? Is it calculated or conventional and How should be calculated in Seismic Unix?
