Dear Colleagues,
There will be a Working Workshop on processing open seismic data August 19-22 in Houston.  Participants will bring their open or proprietary software and computers and process the Teapot Dome data.  I hope we collect enough detail so results can be reproduced after the workshop.  We will gain a lot by comparing results from various software systems and archiving a set of processing templates.  This is an opportunity for academics to pick up some of the "art" of seismic processing from seasoned industry processing staff.  It is also an opportunity for industry to illustrate interesting problems in land processing and "set up" example scripts for university researchers to validate their theory.

There is more information in the attached flyer or go directly to http://www.ahay.org/wiki/Houston_2015.

If you know others that may be interested in joining us for this event, please forward this emil to them.

Regards,
Karl Schleicher
