Hi, I am linux user (xfce 12.04), I am using osdlyrics with clementine. I tried to make a fixed position start script - tried 'osdlyrics --geometry +0-0' and didn't work. Could someone tell if there is a way to do this?

Hi,

Only osd mode can remember the last position an it was. I don't think you can specify initial position of scroll mode by command line arguments. Initilal position of scroll mode is choosen by window manager, which is xfce in your case. In some window manager like KDE you can setup a special rule for OSD Lyrics scroll mode window and have it placed at a certain position. I'm not a xfce user and have no idea if this is supported by xfce. You can try to find it in your system settings.
