All graphic artworks or web designs that we see on the internet and around us are created using graphic designing platforms like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw and other such software. I've been looking all over for a plugin or brush that will help me take a photo and reduce it to that 'electric look' (or fractal?) that i'm seeing in various places. I'd vastly prefer one for Gimp. Does anyone know how these are being done? I'm seening references to fractalius for photoshop, but what about gimp?

Gimp is supported with Fractalius. G'MIC's Rodilius is one of the best freeware options, but now you can create closer effects to this using Google's Deep dream settings from sites such as Dreamscope.com or Ostagram.

Abstract fractal brushes are one of the most popular types of brushes for Photoshop. They are excellent for creating dynamic effects and vibrant backgrounds, making them ideal for book covers, website backgrounds, and posters.

An HD version of the INFINITY brush and a 8K calibration brush to test if your iPad or iPhone supports the 8K resolution brushes. If your device crashes when drawing with the Calibration brush: Then you will likely have to use the HD version instead.

This is a very simple fractal, as far as fractals go, and I guess you could really view it as a shape drawing plug-in. Screen shots can describe what this plug-in does better then I can so here they are.

Thats all there is to it really. The only bug I know of is that rendering a snowflake in a circle or irregular selection causes some distortion, I have not figured out the cause yet but its not a major issue.

this is very interesting plugin. I have an idea for using it perking away in the back of my mind already. I will need to really explore the limits of it and what the settings will do. Complexity is fine as a slider label.

RorrKonn - I see what you mean about the elements and their power such as the
twister swirling out debris - the effects of clouds by a bas-relief of them on a plane3d-
and the chaos of fire and smoke. Element Chaos.

Update on the progress of the cave fractal - I have also added some Celtic runes onto some of the stones added
some whales to give the structure size and to see if I will go in the direction of an underwater scene. An added a
clipper ship somewhere.

This term i had a course about fractals on the university. We also had to write code for a submission and the lecturer made the technique and topic free to choose. So I chose to make a lindenmayer brush for krita, because I planed to do so since the first university year, where I heard of lindenmayer systems the first time.

At first the productions were plain C++ code, but that is very cumbersome, as you have to build, install and start krita for testing. The next thing I tried, was to use QtScript and write the productions in ECMAScript (also called JavaScript). It took about 5 to 7 hours until I proved, that it was way to slow.

Hi there! I used fractal blur couple of times with Nuke10. Its awesome. They only problem with it is it messes up all the connections in the script. Would you please take look into it? Really appreciate your contribution.

I really like the Fractuals pens. I have several pens and most of them are very good. The only one that I don't really care for is the white. It doesn't work very well on my darker colors, so I don't know if that is just the way that it is or if this one isn't as good. I prefer pens that have two tips, one being very fine, and the other being a brush tip. The Fractuals tips are single, and because I haven't used them a great deal yet, I am hoping that the tip doesn't wear down too much. They do provide a nice vibrant color to the cookies that I use them on. I do like the nice colors.

Fractals are so fascinating to me, they're so simple yet so complicated at the same time. It's like they sit somewhere in between order and chaos which is the most interesting place to be. Their organic and repetitive shapes lend themselves well for use in art:

I then doubled the size of the image with resampling set to 'nearest neighbor' so the colors stayed sharp. Using the same one-pixel brush (now only a quarter of the size) I drew the next set of branches in a different color.

When I was young I would lie in the long grass on a sunny day and stare up at the clouds and think about how weird and beautiful the world was. This artwork is my attempt to capture those sunny moments from my childhood.

The Fractal Calligra Brush pen is a richly filled, high-quality brush pen that helps to form precise contours, paint pictures, color smaller graphics, finish petals and more. The flexible brush pen enables an artistic tracking, whereas the sharp nib is perfect to work out the tiniest details.

This is another awesome round-up of vibrant, stunning and simply beautiful photoshop brushes which fall under the abstract/fractal category. After the success of the previous collection, here is another great one, where you will be able to find totally different free brushes but at the same time as awesome as in the previous round-up!
