about osceleton and animata

Hello I am new in these world of Osc programing and such...

I installed the open Ni and Nite and etc of programs I have to install on my mac to make the osceleton work.

I downloaded the osceleton file and everything.

sorry for being so stupid is advance

my questions is? 

what do I do with the osceleton file how do I install it with the terminal so I can work with it?

And after I install it how do I connect it with the animata. 

someone explain it to my like Im a 5 year old.
