Hello Meko,

Did you follow the installation instruction on the video: http://oscarlib.bitbucket.org/downloads.html ?
Can you give us more details about the problem you have for running your exemple (btw the example is it oscar-cp or oscar-cbls?).
Best regards,

Pierre

Hello Pierre

I followed the installation instruction and installed OscaR-cp in Eclipse (Windows OS), Does OscaR-cp support Windows OS? I have got the run problem: (compile:run) No main class detected. More details when I install the OscaR-cp again:

Hello,

I guess you execute sbt from the oscar-cp directory.
What files do you see from this directory in src/main/scala ?
Do you have Queens.scala, SportScheduling.scala etc ?
Cheers,

Pierre

Hello,

Yes,you are right. I execute sbt  at the root of the OscaR-cp, I have got another problem:  unresolved dependency: oscar#oscar-cp_2.11;3.1.0: not found.
There may be some different configurations between Mac and Windows OS. I will try to learn OscaR on linux OS.

Hi,

You are right, there is a problem with the build.
I fix this and come back to you.
No need to go on linux, oscar runs on the JVM to it should be fine on every platforms.
Cheers,

Pierre

Dear Meko,

It was a disk storage problem on our release (artifactory) server.
It should work now. At least it works for me by following the instructions on the website.
Best regards and thank you for your patience,

Pierre

You are welcome. We are very happy to have a user from China ;-)
Don't hesitate to ask any question related to OscaR (modeling etc).
We know that the documentation is quite poor at this point.
Cheers,

Pierre

Hi friend,

Does OscaR support  parallel search ? I found your  research on CP Parallelization.
I would appreciate it a lot to get any advice about parallel search.
Best regards

Meko

Hi Meko,

This is outgoing research.
It will probably be released in the coming year.
Best regards,

Pierre

Hi Pierre,

I recently read your paper "Parallel Strategies Selection" from CP16. I think it is a great idea and has great potential for further research.
I wonder if I could ask for the source codes to learn more. Although This might be a little inappropriate.
Many thanks for your patience.
Best regards

Meko

Hi Meko,

It it not inappropriate at all and all the research we do is generally open-source.
Unfortunately this research was not conducted in my research team but by a student of Jean-Charles Régin so I don't have the source code of it.
Best regards,

Pierre

Hi Pierre

Thank you anyway and I will try to enquire professor Jean-Charles Régin about it.
Best regards,

Meko
