Over the weekend, the Senate unveiled its final budget bill text — and it’s even worse than we expected.  On top of effectively repealing many incentives for clean energy, the bill adds an arbitrary and exorbitant new tax on new solar and wind projects.  The goal is clear: Destroy the solar and wind industry in the United States.  Now the Senate is working to tee up a final vote as soon as tonight before sending it back to the House. Send a message to your senators and tell them: Don't kill American clean energy. Vote "No" on the budget bill.  TAKE ACTION If this bill passes, electricity bills will go up at a moment when millions are struggling just to get by. New solar and wind projects bringing cheap electricity online won’t get built. The US will struggle to meet the exploding demand for energy all across the country. And climate pollution will go through the roof. The Senate is debating the bill today.
