Reid and I have also been busy adding user favorites to
OpenConferenceWare, the system powering the Open Source Bridge site.

I've deployed these experimental changes to the demo server for you to
try: http://ocw.demo.opensourcebridge.org/

The new user favorites provide a way for users build their own personal
schedules and share them with others, as well as helping provide us with
feedback about proposals/sessions they're interested in.

These user favorites show up as little stars next to proposals/sessions
that you can click to toggle whether the item's a favorite. These are
visible in the: schedule, proposals list, proposal details, sessions
list, session details, room details, user details, session_type details,
track details, my favorites, etc.

You can view a list of your user favorites by going to "My favorites" in
your sidebar. That page also lets you download/subscribe to your
favorites using iCalendar.

In the near future, we'd also like to provide:
- Add a link to user profiles to see their favorites, which also
facilitates sharing.
- Display number of favorites racked up by a proposal/session in the
list and/or detail views.
- Allow a way to sort by number of favorites added to a particular
proposal/session.
- Provide a way to see who favored a proposal/session from a
proposal/session details page by clicking a link that expands into this
list.

This demo release also includes the child events that I mentioned yesterday.

Feedback is encouraged!
