Reid and others,

I've committed a bunch of changes that complete my tasks for announcing
sessions. I've deployed the code to the staging server at
http://ocw.demo.opensourcebridge.org for review. When we deploy to
production, we'll need to apply the new migrations.

Changes to review since the last release (April 18) can be seen with
"git log", "gitk" or on the web via:
http://github.com/igal/openconferenceware/commits/master

Please review and report anything that seems wrong. I'll try to be up by
10am to do final review and deploy to production then.

Hey there everyone,

I would like to contribute to this project. Can you give the old 101 on
getting started? Where do I checkout the code, where is the bug/task
list etc.

Thanks,
Schalk

I've deployed the last batch of changes to the http://ocw.demo.opensourcebridge.org/
staging site. I believe I'm really done now. That demo site is set to
publish proposal status, which we'll activate on the production site
soon. Please kick tires while we still can.

Big changes include...
* /sessions route maps to the /events/:id/sessions path
* /sessions/:id is only accessible if the item is a proposal AND the
current user's an admin or the proposal status is published, else
redirects to the proposal route
* /proposals/:id redirects to the session if the item is confirmed and
we're publishing statuses, this also displays a notice
* Users now have a blog URL, twitter and identica handles
* Sessions list doesn't have the submitted_at date
* Sessions list sorts everything by track, then title
* Admin has sessions listing in their sidebar

We still have some UI changes to deploy as well, like hiding the
proposals link and showing the sessions. Reid and I will finish those
next.

Please see the task list for details on what we've built and still
need to build. That page has a resource list at the top that describe
the various subprojects, each of which has its own READMEs:

http://opensourcebridge.org/planning/teams/tech/tasks

Once you've looked over these, please tell us where you'd be able to
help and we'll go from there.

Thanks for the interest.
