It looks like OCW still shows a "submit a proposal" form if you go
directly to this URL:
http://opensourcebridge.org/events/2009/proposals/new

We had at least one person go through the entire process of writing
the proposal only to then find out it was past the deadline. Ugh.

Can we redirect to the main proposals page when someone attempts to
load the add a proposal page?

No, only admins can access the "submit a proposal" form because
proposals are closed for the public.

It already does this.

If you mean Hurricane McEwan, I think there's some confusion and I'll
try to figure out what happened. He already successfully submitted a
proposal for " OpenStreetMap: contributing to open data through mapping"
on April 8th, so I don't understand why he wanted to submit a duplicate.
There also should be no way for a normal user to see the new proposal
form once the deadline passes.

Aha. That explains why I can see it. Sorry I didn't try as a normal
user.

It sounds like something wacky is going on. Thanks for looking into it!

I should clarify: the wacky thing that's going on may very well be
that she doesn't know that her proposal went through. Anyhow, thanks
for being willing to figure out what happened, Igal.
