Hi all,

I just finished researching hotels in downtown for another event. The
best value is University Place at 310 SW Lincoln St. It's $79/day and
parking costs $12/day. The disadvantage is that it is 12 blocks from the
art museum.

If there are questions concerning conferences, I can asked Tom Baldwin,
a good friend, who runs the IEEE Computer Society's conference services.

Thanks for the research.

The distance may not be that big a deal, it's like a 10-15 minute walk,
and using the Streetcar reduces walking to maybe 2 blocks:

Did you talk to the Deluxe?

The University Place is close to Portland State - it may even belong
to Portland State. They used to have a great lunch buffet.
