allowing flash player storage dangerous?

I am watching what appears to be a
Russian live feed of the World Figure Skating Championships. I was told it is not safe to download anything when watching one of the live feeds. But when I tried to click deny the box wouldn't close, I had to allow adobe flash player storage to get the little box in the middle of the feed to go away. Is that dangerous to do? Here is the feed

This is likely a fishing attempt. I wouldn't click that link unless
you're in a VM you plan on destroying.
