After the first night of Preseason the leaderboard point totals are as
follows:

1st Place: Jimmy - 8 points
2nd Place: Chris - 4 points (One last cup)
Tracy - 4 points (One last cup)
CJ - 4 Points (One last cup)

6th Place: Nick - 0 Points
Bug - 0 points

there wasnt that many redemptions last night maybe a quarter of the games ended in repemption which I see as a stagering statistic

What is the thoughts on points earned for streaks of more than 3 so say If pat and I went on a streak of 7 we would get an extra point for winning games 4 5 6 and 7??? thoughts???

Very nice, streaks are good, getting extra points is nice.

Also the tournament should be best of 3 single games kinda make the tournament fair and drag it out longer. Just because you dont want to have a bad pong game like nick last night and loose the tourney

By the end of this week we will make a dicision before any official games are played on how many people will make the playoffs.  based on how many players we have(we are gonna have people that dont show up regularly) and to do a good bracket that is fair you need either 8 or 16.... if you do somewhere in the middle we have to come up with wildcard games which i guess isnt too bad but i think by the end of this week we will have a good idea of who is really gonna be interested and at least semi firmly set a number of playoff spots and a date for the playoffs to happen.

another revelation i just had on the can....another interesting format for a turnament.... maybe secondary to the singles tourny would be a doubles tourny....after a few weeks we take the current standings and make fair teams match a top player with low seed player and have a tourny maybe as a mid season allstar break or soemthing.

what about if both players hit the last cup not last two the same last cup to end the game they get a half a point. hahaha now Im just trying to add on more points where we can haha

are we publicizing the league. Do we want others to get involved? 5 bucks a person?

5 bucks will cover cost of the league like maintinace of the arena(hahaha) and cups mainly for the season???
