A new stable release of OSATE, version 2.14.0, is now available for download at http://osate-build.sei.cmu.edu/download/osate/stable/2.14.0/products/. The archive files contain the complete version of OSATE. You can use the sha256 hashes posted in the release notes to verify your download.

Please note:

  1. MacOS users must run the command `sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine osate2.app/` to be able to run OSATE.
  2. Installing from the update site into an existing Eclipse requires additional steps (see https://groups.google.com/g/osate/c/Hpw6wX_GND4

Lutz,
I tried to install the BLESS plugins with Install Additional OSATE Components with the version currently hosted on multitude.net which works with v2.13.0, expecting issues related to Eclipse 2023_12.
However, I got this error message:

Problems occurred while performing installation: Unable to read repository at https://multitude.net/p2/repository/content.xml.

Unable to read repository at https://multitude.net/p2/repository/content.xml.

PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

Does this mean I need to sign my .jar?

I'm happy to report that multitude.net now has a valid SSL/TLS certificate, redirects access from http to https, and that OSATE 2.14.0 installs the BLESS plugins without complaint.

Amazingly, the plugins currently hosted on multitude.net were built for OSATE 2.13.0, but work fine with 2.14.0 (so far).

Send email to b...@multitude.net if you encounter "issues".
