Dear OSA Members..
The OSA IITM Student Chapter is organizing its Industrial visit + School visit + Fun trip for the vacation time.
Tentative Plan :
No of Days : 3 (2x Nights; 3xDays); Any three days from 12-July to 15 July 2019. A combination of Fri-Sat-Sun or Sat-Sun-Mon will be chosen from these days. Departure from IIT Madras will be at Day 0 evening, and return will be at Day 3 evening.
Industry : DRDO Research centre - Bangalore
School Visit - Mysore and Madikeri(Coorg)
Other locations - Mysore Palace, Vrindavan Gardens, Locations at Coorg
Stays - Mysore, Madikeri
Final plan/details will be shared with the members who are all shortlisted.
Travel and Stay charges are covered by OSA IITM.
A team of 12 OSA MEMBERS will be selected on First-come-first-serve basis.
Please fill the form only if you are SURELY AVAILABLE on 12-15th of July 2019. Please ensure your faculty advisor’s permission before filling the form. The names and details of members has to be submitted to DRDO well in advance and cannot be swapped. A non-refundable deposit of Rs.1000 must be paid by whoever registers for the trip. For members who will be attending the trip, this amount will be compensated with expenses such as food, snacks, entry fees, etc.
People who are willing to join OSA IITM Chapter or renewing membership are also eligible for the trip. This requires membership fees of $10. The membership form (same for new membership/renewal) has to be filled before 10 June.
