Minutes OSA IITM Students chapter Meeting held on 4th June 2018 at Malaviya Hall

Minutes of the meeting:

1.  Promoting Student chapter to the new lab members.
2. Organizing the faculty and student talk in the month August, specially in other department, with the aim to promote OSA in other photonics labs 
3.  Free OSA T-shirt for those who attend three or more OSA School visits events   
4. Planning to provide OSA student chapter web page link in the EE Page.
5. Configure the site to make an appearance of chapter link in  google search  
6. Fun event: Saturday morning, reaching Beach By Bicycle (BBB).
7.  Safari: Planning to visit NeST Photonics, a govt. school, and major site scenes nearby.
8. Installing stalls (Promotion and Fundraising events) at major events like Sastra and CFIopen house etc.
9. Planning to have an open house, hosted by OSA student chapter.
10. Making videos on demo kit in the local language.
11. Conducting demos during Semester to the students of  Photonics minor as well as major. 
12. Decided to purchase paper microscope and VR headset for demo kits.
