Are you a tweeter? The so-called micro-blogging platform has exploded
into the mainstream recently and is touted as an incredibly useful
marketing tool / way of interacting with clients and a wider community.

Personally, I find Twitter a great way of keeping up to date with
breaking news and interesting links / articles. Also a great way of
being part of a larger community - can often ask for help or advice on
a topic and get a reply back very quickly.

Found this - 50 Open Source companies, products and people to follow
on twitter. Recommended.

Be green - think before you print! Don't print unless absolutely
necessary, you know why.

Real FOSS companies, products and people will be on the
OpenMicroBlogging system more than the closed twitter site. It's a
distributed twitter-like system with free and open source servers
available.

I'm on http://identi.ca/mjray and mensch.coop even run their own OMB
server.

Hope that's interesting,
