Hi OS4B Members.

Firstly,

a quick note to remind you that there's a learning lunch in Barnsley today where we're talking Open Source. Its at BBIC http://www.bbic.co.uk/concept.htm.

Secondly:

Could you use an extra pair of willing hands? We have developed a new placement program putting students into the workplace combining work with their studies.

There are many advantages to engaging with someone early in their career. First and foremost, they love what they are learning, so you can expect someone who is eager to work hard and gain the most for their experience.

Essentially, you would have access to enthusiastic new talent.

There is also a sense of pride and social well-being to be gained in the mentorship process; where you can offer someone valuable lessons on what it’s like to work in their chosen profession.

Most students have two days available in a week - during which they don’t have lectures. Whilst many will be employed in casual employment, playing sports or even volunteering; many more will be looking to their future employment prospects.

It’s the students in the latter group who find themselves in this innovative placement program.

Grow your business from the ground up and get help with web development, mobile apps, systems administration and an assortment of other technical skills.

Please contact me (details below) to get involved.

Kind regards
