Workbooks start with grade 8 and include the basic exercises to teach and practise basic drawing skills. The exercises continue through the grade 9 workbook and the grade 10-12 books have more than sufficient exercises for students to practise and master required techniques and skills.

The presentations consist of step-by-step explanations for every drawing in the workbook. The grade 8 - 12 presentations are available on-line. The workbooks, together with the presentations, are affordable and easily obtainable.

I have the R3 and tried the voice memo thing for the first time today. I shoot JPEGS and it recorded and played back on the camera ok. I uploaded the photos to my Apple Mac and theres no sign of the voice recording......its not in metadata either

FYI, the R3 is only recording voice memos to one card. If you have both a CFE and SD card in the camera, it is only recording the voice memo to the card that you are viewing images on (record/play setting). This is also true of any images you rate... it you are recording to multiple cards, the rating will only be on the card that is being viewed when you review your images.

thanks Fred....... I didnt think of that! Will go and have another try to see what happens I went back to the blank photo in between events to separate them until I see if voice memo works and how it works.... I do use both cards in the camera

The Aura Carver 10.1" HD Digital Frame is a great way to put your portfolio on display and a great way to surface forgotten memories. The colors are vibrant, and the build quality is solid, but the Carver isn't without a few quirks.

*You will also see M1, M2, M3 & M4, which do the same kind of thing, but instead of saving your custom settings to one of those camera modes, it saves them to the currently selected memory card instead.

One of the best additions to the Sony mirrorless camera lineup over the last few generations is the ability to not only save all of your settings into a single file on your memory card for backup but also load those same settings onto a 2nd camera as well. This feature becomes incredibly handy if you have two camera bodies as you can fully set up one a1, save the settings file to your SD or CF Express card, and then simply load those settings into your 2nd a1 and instantly have a fully setup camera.

1. No opening images of SCPs above your paygrade. (Give the images Level-specific permission bits?)
2. No opening images of personnel above your paygrade.
3. If a chat terminal opens up, do not interact with it.

The short answer is "no", for reasons covered in Alvy Ray Smith's memo, Gamma Correction. Gamma is not about nonlinearity in human perception, it's about nonlinearity in display devices (and, I suppose, acquisition devices too).

I am a guy who loves cameras, who loves gear and who loves taking photos to make memories of those slices of my life that I may forget in my older years. I appreciate the gear as much as the process of going out and finding images, but these days I am very picky about what I actually buy for my own use. It would take a lot to pull me from the Leica SL series that I have owned and shot for the last eight years. Also, I am not one who stresses or worries about tech specs. Instead, I place value on ay camera that feels good in the hand, has class leading AF for photo and video, is simple to use, works great for small manual adapted lenses and can do top shelf photo as well as video without issues.

I also loved the little Nikon V1 system when no one else really did. The images I captured with that little camera system were some great memories from a wonderful time in life when my son was growing into his teen years. Today my son is 27 and boy has time been flying by. So yes indeed, I do have fond memories of my times and years with Nikon cameras.

"Investors flocked to this borderline [investment grade/high yield] deal, preferring to spend their cash on higher quality and less speculative names," Birch Creek Capital strategists said in a weekly report.

After months of speculation, the firm confirmed it would "wind down" its municipal underwriting and market-making activities after a "broad-based review" of its muni business, according to a company memo.
