General Purpose:
Take a prominent role in the ongoing development of our portfolio of benefits administration and enrollment products.
Responsibilities / Duties:
• Help us create great software for our customers.
• Act as a technical lead for specific products and/or large areas of functionality.
•
Take a lead role in working with designers and user experience
specialists to optimize our user interface to attain business goals. We
have challenging needs to deliver world class experiences to a
multifaceted range of users (employers, their employees, insurance
brokers, and our internal users) via web and mobile platforms.
• Build software via a combination of hands on coding/testing as well as via assigning work to other programmers and testers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
4 year technical degree preferred
Experience:
4+ years of experience successfully designing, coding,
deploying, and supporting web applications.
1+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
Ruby on Rails experience is preferred but is not required.
Skills/ Abilities:
Demonstrated mastery of at least one technology stack.
Technologies we use include Ruby on Rails, JavaScript,
jQuery, MySQL, HTML5, SASS.
