Hello everyone!

I just realized I hadn't posted on our local mailing list!  Oh crap! :)  

MagicRuby 2012 (presented by GitHub) will be happening on October 5 and 6, 2012 inside Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park® at the Premier Theatre.  Our registration is open now (available at http://magic-ruby.com) and our CFP is open for one more talk.  I was hoping to get a talk from a local, so here's your chance before I give it away!

This is our second year running, and we're glad to welcome back EnvyLabs as a sponsor along with 8th Light as a newcomer.  The conference this year is shaping up to be really great: we have a great crop of talks forming up (from RubyMotion to theme park nerdery...I'm REALLY excite), a fantastic keynote, and did I mention we'll be inside a freaking theme park?  You'll be mere steps from the awesome attractions and great food in the park.  Maybe you can run out for a quick run through Toy Story Mania™ between talks or catch Muppet Vision 3D!™ at the tail end of the lunch break.  Who knows?  Either way, you and I both know it'll be awesome.
