Ruby on Rails Developer for 3 month contract in South Orlando

·         Minimum of 5 years experience designing, developing, implementing middle-tier and distributed systems.

·         Familiar with software engineering concepts (coupling, cohesion, algorithms) and design patterns

·         Working knowledge of at least one modern web development framework, i.e., Ruby On Rails, JRuby, Groovy,  PhP, Django

·         Hands-on experience with Web 2.0, AJAX and Rich Internet Applications concepts

·         Working knowledge of relational database concepts and database access using O/R concepts, i.e., ActiveRecord, TopLink, iBatis, Hibernate

·         Knowledge of Java2 Enterprise Edition or Spring concepts and implementations a plus

·         Integration experience with legacy systems a plus

·         Experience with full system lifecycle for application development preferred.
