Just wanted to give you guys a heads up about Tech Venture 2011 taking place Monday & Tuesday, December 5th and 6th at the Hard Rock Cafe (and it's a free event). http://www.techventure2011.com

The first day of the event (Monday the 5th) is a Hackathon by AT&T: http://www.techventure2011.com/hackathon
The second day (Tuesday the 6th) is full of a few talks from entrepreneurs, along with demos from Florida tech startups. Envy Labs startup Code School is going to be amongst the products presented. See the schedule here:
The event previously cost money to attend, but now it's free. This is the first Tech Venture event, which will hopefully be one of many put on by Florida Tech Journal (http://www.floridatechnologyjournal.com/)
The next ORUG (with any luck) should be beta testing our new CoffeeScript course, on Thursday, December 8th. Details should follow next week about that.
