Requesting your opinion

11 yr old boy

Case of bilateral DDH- TREATED BY OPEN REDUCTION and femoral shortening at AGE OF 2 ½ YRS in another hospital—R side got infected re open and debridement

Now has occasional pain R side  ROM R hip-flex 90  int rot 20 deg , ext ror-30 deg  abd = 30 deg

                                                                   L hip  normal ROM

Seen in local hospital and referred here

X-RAYS- LARGE ACETABULAM[ACETABULAR INDEX INCREASED] BILATERAL irregular R, COXA BREVA R  ,  ?COXA Valga LEFT

Does the pt need a Dega osteotomy bilateral - he is asymptomatic except for occasional pain
