You seem to be having a series of instrumentation problems!!
 
I would probably leave it alone till the fracture unites and then address the issue of broken drill bit during implant remoal and only if there are some problems to it. In other words no action now. You have not told us age of the patient  and any other co-morbidities. These factors also may affect the decision making later.

if u r lucky u may not get problems of mal and/or nonunion as u r
having only 1 screw in the prox fragment. how about gettinng d nail
more proximal and locking d larger inf hole so as 2 have stronger
purchase. another option was 2 remove d nail & then d broken bit
through a lat cortial window & do a dhs fixation or use a locking
plate o r a reverse recon
