Dear Friends

Looking forward for your opinion

1 yr 7 months old female

Case of meningomyelocele  operated 3rd month in a medical college-meningomyelocele closure

Has reduced vision Lensectomy done

Has Left hip paralytic dislocation-referred to me

Had L CTEV which he has corrected by serial casting in the previous institution

L ankle-Dorsi Flexion  to neutral

L hip abduction reduced

Active knee extension present bilateral but ? reduced power left

Spine -spinous process not felt below L3

x-ray- LEFT hip dislocated- pelvic obliquity, spine -Absent pedicles and laminae L4-L5

I feel the scoliosis is likely to progress with that the pelvic obliquity. Should it be referred to spine surgeon. Also can or should anything be done for the hip dislocation AFTER pelvic obliquity correction?

Attaching X-rays and MRI

Regards
