Bishop's visit, RSVP

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

 

Christ is in our midst!

First, I pray that you and yours have a blessed and most joyous Thanksgiving.  God is good, and every moment in life is a moment in which God is blessing us and providing us with reasons to be thankful.

 

Second, we are doubled blessed since Bishop Andrew will be visiting on December 4th and 5th.  We will be celebrating at the very least a Vigil on Saturday evening at 7 PM.  Then on Sunday Morning at 10 AM, Valdyka will be with us for the Divine Liturgy.  Afterwards we will be going out to a local restaurant where we will have a Nativity Lenten meal (Italian food).  Please RSVP if you would like to attend so we may make the appropriate number of reservations.

 

We hope that you will come and celebrate with Valdyka and our parish on the first weekend of December.  Our parish, Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church, is located at 2501 S Harrison St., Fort Wayne, IN 46807.  We meet in Chapel dedicated to our services at the Simpson United Methodist Church.  Although somewhat dated (we have updated the the church since these pictures were taken), you can see pictures of our chapel at:
