Orthanc Worklist

Hi, I am a new user of Orthanc and have the following questions:

1. I just want to know how to create a non dicom image from a dicom file using a worklist? 

2. Query / retrieve data using a worklist? 

From this documentation i already setup the config for worklist: http://book.orthanc-server.com/plugins/worklists-plugin.html

Why would you need a worklist for that ?  Can you clarify your use case ?

To get an image from a dicom file, use the /preview route of the Rest API: http://book.orthanc-server.com/users/rest.html#id11

 

2. Query / retrieve data using a worklist? 

Your modality can send C-Find requests to Orthanc that is acting as a modality worklist to retrieve "worklists" not data. Can you clarify your use case too ?
