Every year, the CDF acknowledges the top contributor for each project at Open Source Summit / CDCon.
Nominations are open.
This award recognizes excellence in technical contributions to Ortelius. This individual commits key pieces to the project, is dedicated to outreach, or excels in documentation or testing. Most importantly, they contribute to the project in a way that benefits the project neutrally as a whole.
To nominate someone, or self-nominate, add a
comment to this issue with the following:
Full name of the person you’re nominating
Short description of their contributions to the Ortelius and why they should win.
Note that you can nominate several persons, but only one per comment.
Nominations open: March 5, 2026
Nominations close: April 2, 2026
Voting opens: April 8, 2026
Voting closes: May 5, 2026
Winners announced at cdCon: May 18–20, 2026
Many thanks to CDF for arranging these awards!
