semiconductor R&D start-up in Seattle, developing a revolutionary technology
for high-performance mixed-signal CMOS integrated circuits. They have
assembled a dream team of technical talent, and are looking to add an
experienced IC Layout Design Technician.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the schematic capture,
floorplanning, layout, DRC, and LVS of custom mixed-signal CMOS integrated
circuits in deep sub-micron technologies. Knowledge of layout techniques for
high-resolution analog circuits, for RF circuits, and for high-speed digital
cells and circuit subsystems is a definite plus.
The successful applicant will work closely with experienced IC designers
during the entire chip-design process, from schematic capture through
tape-out of CMOS mixed-signal ICs. Effective and constructive communication
skills are an absolute must, as are experience with modern CAD tools.
Knowledge of CMOS design rules and fabrication processes is a plus, but
designers experienced in other technologies (such as silicon bipolar or GaAs
MESFET) will receive serious consideration.
3 years in a custom or semi-custom layout environment required. Relocation
