since a while JabRef also has a Citavi-Importer in the latest dev and therefore in the next release index - powered by h5ai v0.29.0 ( )
It accepts citavi backup files in version v5 and v6.
As I have not citavi, I would appreciate it if you could help to verify the knowledge items, especially the fields KnowledgeItemType or QutoationIndex are not self-explanatory
You can create a backup add the extension .zip and open the XML file.
2. Request a free license key, i.e. set up your own Citavi account
Go to www.citavi.com/mci and register for your own Citavi account. N.B. You must use the mail address from your MCI account to confirm your entitlement. It is not possible to obtain the license key with a mail address from a free service provider (web.de, GMX, Gmail etc.).
Install and open Citavi and login with your Citavi account.
Please note: If you log in via www.citavi.com, you can view your access authorizations in Citavi Account, but from there you can only access the web version of Citavi, not your desktop version!
All Citavi Users who already have a license key will receive an e-mail from acc...@citavi.com in the next couple of days. The Site License has been renewed for another three years. To be able to continue to work with the full version you will have to re-enter your license key.
