Ifind that the Dropbox updater will run randomly whilst I'm using the PC and this causes so much activity with the hard drive that the system is almost unusable until it completes. Since this takes several minutes it is such an inconvenience I have to disable the Dropbox application except when I want to explicitly synchronise files.

Is there a way to disable auto-update on the Dropbox Windows application or set it to run at a particular time? This "run whenever it feels like" is very backwards and not something I see in any other application, which either ask to update or allow defined times to do so.

Whenever my Dropbox is crashing and I go to the Task Manager - it is always because it's trying to update at the same time. The only way to fix is to uninstall Dropbox and reinstall the latest version - which is not an autoupdate anyway!!! Please let me know how to delete the autoupdate part from the Dropbox program folders, so that my ap. stops crashing.

According to my currently syncing/crashing Dropbox, I have 3,069,000 files currently trying to sync. This is because every time I have to uninstall and reinstall Dropbox (which is pretty much Dropbox's recommended solution for everything), I have to try and remember exactly what subfolders i have synced out of a massive online data collection. I never get it exactly right, and I usually start again with the bare minimum smart-synced to the computer, but it will have to catalogue the whole thing again to figure out what I want on the desktop and what I don't.

I have had Dropbox paused for the last 17 hrs approximately, because another forum had an issue marked a 'solved' if you pause Dropbox while it's doing a massive 'indexing' operation. That trick seemed to work for me on my home computer the other day, but has not worked in this instance.

Sadly 3M files IS me being VERY selective about what I keep Smart-synced. I am attempting to reduce it even further, but the Dropbox ap. can't get far enough through re-indexing and figuring itself out after re-installing to even get there. It's just repeatedly crashing.

I've once again tried the pause sync trick to give it a bit of time to get the indexing done, but no improvement. As soon as I unpause it crashes the ap. and requires me to press the "Restart Dropbox" button.

Windows Embedded Automotive (formerly Microsoft Auto, Windows CE for Automotive, Windows Automotive, and Windows Mobile for Automotive) is a discontinued operating system that was part of the Windows Embedded family and based on Windows CE for use on computer systems in automobiles. The operating system is developed by Microsoft through the Microsoft Automotive Business Unit that formed in August 1995. The first automotive product built by Microsoft's Automotive Business Unit debuted on December 4, 1998 as the AutoPC, and also includes Ford Sync, Kia Connect, and Blue&Me. Microsoft's Automotive Business Unit has built both the software platforms used for automotive devices as well as the devices themselves. The current focus is on the software platforms and includes two products, Microsoft Auto and Windows Automotive.

The Windows Embedded Automotive operating system was originally shipped with the AutoPC that was jointly developed by Microsoft and Clarion. The system was released in December 1998, and referred to the operating system itself as "Auto PC".[4] Microsoft's Auto PC platform was based on Windows CE 2.0, and had been announced in January of that year.[5]

On October 16, 2000, Microsoft officially announced the next version of the platform.[6][7] This version of the operating system was renamed to "Windows CE for Automotive" and had new applications preinstalled like the Microsoft Mobile Explorer.[8]

Microsoft again renamed the operating system as "Windows Embedded Automotive", and updated its version to 7 on October 19, 2010.[11] This is the latest in MS Auto category, and is based on the Windows CE platform.[12]

I've had my truck since March and have had the window vent shades that are sold on gm's site. Anyone else have a problem with the automatic windows from them? If it's super hot out the rubber seal is soft enough the window will stay closed but if it not the auto window goes straight back down. Just a pain not being able to use the auto feature.

+2 for Weathertech - -------actually more like +9 because they've worked fine on the other 6 sets I've used on other vehicles. Personal preference, but l always get the lighter tint which affords better driver visibility in a left turn.

My buddy had the GM accessory ones on his 2015 Silverado Crew Cab (in channel) and he had issues all the time. He swapped them for the stick on style. I purchased the GM accessory ones (in channel) and have never had any issues from day one!....I think it is just luck...

I have AVS in channel on mine . Some days theyre good some days it takes 10 or 15 attempts to get the drivers side up. Once i get the auto up to stop i can inch it up with the switch. Auto down is a good idea but honestly I hate auto up period ....Would love to know if it can be adjusted .

Pretty sure if you roll the window up and hold the button in the up position for like 5 seconds it recalibrates the auto up functions force so that it wont go back down as easy with the in channel visors. I know ive read it some where on the forum just dont remember where. Ive been going to get the avs in channel ones for my truck but never have yet.

I cannot get the Auto Shape tool to generate doors or windows per the Learn Demo. I have tried with grouped objects and ungrouped surfaces. I emulate the demo exactly; the result is only a surface selection.

I believe you might be referencing an automated script that hides certain files and folders on a schedule, perhaps using a PowerShell script. In this context, it would likely be more intuitive and less complicated if Obsidian handled this instead of leaving it to the user.
