Hi All!
120km 8-hour Dart Populaire (https://rusa.org/pages/dartpopulairerules).
Coming up on July 11th. The start time for all teams is 9am. The finishing deadline is 5pm.
The finish control will be at Graham Ross’s house in Southeast Portland.
There will be snacks and drinks and merriment at the finish.
The ride fee is $5 per rider, to be collected in cash at the finish control.
You must be a current RUSA member on July 11.
TO DO NOW:
- You can register as a rider “for hire” if you’re open to the idea of being added to a team. It might not be possible to find you a team. You can decline an offer.
- Register your team and give it a name. You can change the name later.
Go to oregonrandonneurs.com -> Upcoming Rides -> View event “Dart pop” (awesome graphic!) -> Register now!
- You're the captain, but you can change captains later if you like.
- Find teammates (a total of three to five bikes). Tell them to register under your team name, so they can join you. As folks join, have them register!
- Develop your route. There will be deadlines. Reach out to me, please! I’d like to help. (text me: 5033180727).
- If you think you’re on someone’s team, ask what the team’s name is and register under that team name.
Help available:
- I’d like to assist in the development of your route if you’re new to rando route design, or blocked.
- I have some thoughts about how to choose a practical start control, and how your team might get there in time for the 9am start.
