Hi ! I found my old pod xt live , and I wanted to use it again ,so I updated it with a new account because I did not remember the old one , the thing is that I had two model packs , but now they are gone , I had the fx pack and the metal shop pack , what can I do to recover the packs? I cant remember the old account
I had that happen to me also, i got a used one off guitar center and it had 3 model packs in it. When i got it i checked it out for a bit then i updated it tot he newest firmware because i know it can fix issues and i just like to keep everything current. It wrote over all 3 packs and i lost em.
- model packs already reside on your unit (assuming it has model pack options and has current flash memory). A purchaser can assign the model pack code to a particular unit, unlocking access to the specific model pack.
- model packs are the "software property" of the OP, meaning that if a owner "recalls" the model packs they will go back to the purchasing account the next time the unit in question is connected to Line 6 Monkey.
I believe you are correct to an extent. If you bought them on sale you couldn't gift them but if it was a direct purchase not on sale you could (at least one time) gift them. It has been a number of years since I ran into that issue but I think that is how it went.
re: what model packs came with what - there was the "basic" set that came with the guitarport & Toneport series. The XT series came with the "power pack" already installed (not able to transfer out). the XT Live also had the "FX Junkie" model pack "hard-installed" as well.
#1 - you had to have purchased the model packs at some point in time. Some people sell the XTL's with the model packs loaded but never transfer the license for them (not saying you didn't buy them but just in case you didn't know).
When you bought the model packs they were assigned to your user account. So as long as you still have that account they will be linked to it and you will be able to authorized your XTL via the License Manager for the activation. The packs can be used on 3-4 devices IIRC.
Hello, It's been so long now I've forgotten. How the model pack add-on's were added-on! I purchased the triple pack bundle in 04. The Collector Classic, FX Junkie, and Metal Shop. I'm not so sure they are actually all still there, and working. Was there a download at the time I purchased them? If so where is it now? If not how was it delivered to my software ? Now.. POD Farm 2. When I go to the add for FX junkie model pack..I see FX listed as part, but see no such FX in my program.
I have done that, and see the bundle purchase confirmed/ authorized. But see no download. After posting I checked again, and located some of the (I thought) missing FX. They are probably all there. However, it would probably be good to re-install the whole bundle maybe?
OK Great! thanks Triryche. One last question. I still have gearBox and Pod Farm1 on my system. Any reason to keep either one? If not then what is the best way to completely remove them? They don't show up in My Programs and features (win. 7). Nor do I see a uninstall in the programs, line 6 file.
I upgraded to Podfarm 2.5 platinum. My license manager shows the four model packs (Bass Expansion; Collector Classics; FX Junkie and Power Pack) - but they don't show up in Podfarm. I'm using the UX2 device with it. Can you advise how I can access these model packs)? I'm using a Mac with High Sierra OS (v10.13.2). Thanks in advance!
UX2 with FX Junkie Pack and Cubase LE, now eighter Line 6 Monkey Key and Licence manager does not show me bought products. Please tell me how can I get them all back. When press tone - shows : code 8000a002 ...failed to load tone etc. But I only need my paid FX Junkie pack and Cubase LE back.
I am new to the line 6 community. I recently purchased a POD HD500x and I am not sure how to access the "Free HD Model Packs" (see the offer below). I have registered my unit and downloaded several items e.g., drivers v4.27.7, line 6 monkey, line 6 workbench, but do not believe I have access to download the HD Model Packs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
-No software came with the Unit. I downloaded everything mentioned from the Line 6 website i.e., drivers v4.27.7, line 6 monkey, line 6 workbench, . The driver was released 6/19 so I don't imagine it would include the Bundle for the promo offer.
Well thanks for the help friends. I figured it out. An email was sent and lost in my junk mail. Hopefully, this helps someone else. This of course would be improved by line6 if they would communicate this at registration.
In any case you don't get any new factory presets/patches when you buy the model packs, you get only the new amp models which you can find listed among the other stock ones into the amp menu when you build/tweak a patch.
Also, if you press and hold the VIEW button on the device to access the system settings and go to the last page 12/12 you can see all the model packs which have been successfully authorized of which the amp models are ready to be selected and used.
The Three Lines Model developed by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) helps organizations identify structures and processes to facilitate strong governance and risk management. In that model, the first-line function manages risk. The second-line function oversees risk. The third-line function provides objective and independent assurance of risk management. According to Deloitte analysis, modernizing the three lines of defense model, Internal Audit (IA) functions can have the strongest impact in their organizations by automating assurance tasks and providing real-time integrations and insight into emerging risks. Internal Audit can then use the monitoring of results, perform agile testing of controls, and provide relevant assurance and advice to the organization.
AWS Audit Manager provides continuous and automated gathering of evidence related to your AWS resource usage. It helps simplify risk assessment and compliance with regulations and open standards and helps you maintain a continuous, audit-ready posture to provide a faster, less disruptive preparation process. When you apply the three lines model to AWS services, AWS Audit Manager provides the third-line function by enabling objective and independent assurance of risk management.
AWS Config conformance packs provide a general-purpose compliance framework to help you create security, operational, or cost-optimization governance checks using managed or custom AWS Config rules and AWS Config remediation actions. When you apply the Three Lines Model to AWS services, AWS Config conformance packs provide the first-line function of managing risk.
In the first post of this two-part series, I provided an automation that integrated the function that provides independent assurance (third-line function) with a function that oversees risk (second-line function). In this second post of the series, I provide a mechanism for building a custom real-time automation and integration across the Three Lines Model in AWS by integrating the independent assurance function (third-line function) with the function that manages risk (first-line function).
This solution enables AWS administrators to use any of the out-of-the box supported compliance standards in AWS Config conformance packs and create an AWS Audit Manager assessment and an AWS Audit Manager framework for that compliance standard. AWS Config conformance packs support several frequently assessed compliance standards across several verticals and geographies, such as NERC-CIP-BCSI, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, FFIEC, K-ISMS (Korea), PCI-DSS, FedRAMP (Moderate), NIST-CSF, and RBI MD-ITF (India).
A key feature of AWS Config conformance packs is that they provide a sample mapping between a supported compliance standard and AWS Config Managed Rules. Each AWS Config Managed Rule applies to a specific AWS resource and maps to one or more controls in the supported compliance or regulatory standard. A specific control in the supported compliance or regulatory standard can map to multiple AWS Config rules.
Guidance: AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) can help you incorporate the principles of least privilege and separation of duties with access permissions and authorizations, by ensuring that IAM groups have at least one IAM user. Placing IAM users in groups based on their associated permissions or job function is one way to incorporate least privilege
NERC-CIP-BCSI is supported by compliance checks in AWS with an AWS Config conformance pack, but it is not currently available for audit assurance in AWS as an out-of-the box AWS Audit Manager framework.
The solution creates a custom AWS Audit Manager framework that includes custom AWS Audit Manager control sets. Custom frameworks in AWS Audit Manager help you organize controls into control sets that suit your needs.
AWS Config provides an out-of-the box integration with AWS Audit Manager where findings based on evaluations from AWS Config managed rules are sent to AWS Audit Manager. The solution requires a CSV control mapping file for the specific compliance standard. Each row of this mapping file contains a unique control ID for the compliance standard along with all the AWS Config Managed rules that map to it.
