I am applying for the Module 4 Badge in which I reflected upon the challenges that can arise when trying to get students to create online text as well as a lesson plan that incorporates using the internet to create blogs as characters from different novels, short stories, etc.

Great ideas Alyssa.

I like your thinking about having students blog as a specific character to get into the "head" of that character. I think you could have some powerful work as they try to unpack the text. We have had variants of this in the past. If you Google "my fake wall" you'll find previous attempts to create social media feeds of fictional characters.
