Hi Jody,

WOW. Great work. I love the connection to the novel...and the theme of "courage" in the lesson/unit.

The lesson plan is well written. Great connections to the CCSS, and the CCT. This is a professional lesson plan...but I would not expect any less from you. :)

I would suggest adding in a connection to the Mozilla Web Literacy Map...I think you've go a couple opportunities already.

The connection between the text..and the digital texts and tools is great. I'm looking forward to seeing how this scales up in the unit for Susanne. The rubric is clear and provides guidance for students. I really appreciate the "Courage Presentation Directions" you provide. You're a pro teacher...and it shows through as you scaffold students.

Finally...great work on the screencast. Really great work. Your tone and dialogue are clear, direct...and informative. I would suggest adding some more details to the title and description for the YouTube video. As I was watching it, I looked over to the other YouTube clips on Google Classroom and was wondering if people might stumble across your video looking for a straight up Google Classroom tutorial. BUT....yours is much better. I would add a line or two discussing the unit/lesson and the students it is meant for. Finally, I might include a link to the blog post...or Google Doc with the materials.

If you edit in some language about the Web Literacy associated..you'll have earned that badge. Good work!!!!
