I have just bought a toy to get to know the sport as a hobby.  I would like to learn enough to join in a search and rescue using a real UAV.  Baby steps first!  My daughter is having an outdoor wedding next spring and I would like to be up to speed by then,
I live in Hunter's Creek.

Hey Ron,  Welcome to your new addiction!  Your ideas are not far fetched and you can be doing search and rescue in no time.  What kind of help are you looking for?  I myself live in Hunters Creek.  Glenhurst to be exact.  Whereabouts are you?

Jeff

I live in Foxhaven.  I just bought a Walkera QR W100S WiFi Quadcopter FPV with HD Camera.

It should arrive this Friday.  Right now I don't know what questions to ask.  After I have had a few mishaps with my new toy I would like to have a conversation about the care and feeding of FPVs.  I have spent a lot of time on Google but the UAV world is heavily coded in acronyms and it will take me a while to sort them out.
