What's the best site these days finding solid php freelancers. Is elance still around?

I have never had much success with Guru, elance, or the like. The boards seem mostly flooded with offshore firms that have underbid the US competition into hiding or overpricing themselves. I recommend posting to the Orlando PHP mailing list supplied through Meetup.com. I've toyed with bridging that list and this one, but I've never followed through. Best of luck,
