Subject: 2014 -T20 Super Challenge League

Florida Cricket Conference is pleased to announce the launch of T20 Super Challenge League. This league will start on August 24th. The league rules and format will be similar to the recently concluded T20 Super Smash, except that the teams are divided into two pools based on their ranking at the completion of regular season play in the T20 Super Smash League. Any new teams will be added to the bottom of the rankings. 

 

Aryans CC has informed us that they will not be participating. However, FCC is pleased to announce that it is growing with the addition of three new teams. These teams are Sultan CC, Kissimmee Blasters & Warriors CC.

 

Entry fee & Prize Money

Entry fee for this tournament is $150 per team. Prize money is as follows:

 

Winner              $700

Runner Up       $300

Plate Finalist   $150

 

ALL TEAMS SHOULD DEPOSIT THE ENTRY FEE IN FCC ACCOUNT WITH CHASE BANK, ACCOUNT NUMBER  976972893 NO LATER THAN JULY 25TH.

 

Pools & Format

 

Pool A

Orlando CC, Classy Knights CC, Smart Choice CC, VC3 Tigers CC, E. Riddle CC, Warriors CC

 

Pools B

Rebels CC, Falcons CC, Lions CC, Blues CC, Sultan CC, Kissimmee Blazers CC

 

Each team will play every other team in its pool. The top two teams in each pool will advance to playoffs and compete for the championship. The 3rd and 4th placed teams in each pool will advance to Plate Playoffs and compete for Plate Championship .

 

All teams are required to wear colored clothing and  play with FCC approved white balls. Balls are available for purchase in a minimum set of 6 for $72. Please contact Taimoor Gillani to purchase cricket balls.

 

Scoring for the games will be on CricHQ.
